IHRO accuses Indian Intelligence Agencies and Renegade (Non-Conformist) Militants
For the Sikh Massacre in Chithi Singhpora village in Kashmir

LUDHIANA, March 29, 2000- The International Human Rights Organisation (IHRO), after a spot investigation, indicted the renegade-militants for Chithi Singhpora (Anantnag) massacre of 35 Sikhs on March 20 last. They, it said, aimed at breaking the Sikh-Muslim worldwide nexus to rundown the Kashmir movement for self-determination.

Sensing the gravity of the situation, IHRO dispatched a high level investigation team, comprising its Chairman D S Gill, General Secretary M S Grewal and Randhir Singh, to the tormented Sikh village in South Kashmir, erstwhile a hot belt of militants in the Valley, to make spot inquiries to clear the mist that is even today prevailing regarding ‘who are the guilty?’

THE KILLING OF GURJANT SINGH BUDHSINGHWALA BY POLICE
Police could have taken him in custody, but killed in cold blood for showing bravery

Gurjant Singh Budhsinghwala, chief of the Khalistan Liberation Force, was killed on July 29, 1992 at about 10 PM in a “Police encounter” staged in the Model Town Extension, Ludhiana, while he was staying at 95/A, Model Town Extension, with one Kaur Singh, an ex-Havaldar of the Indian Army. The police version of the “encounter” is narrated in the FIR Number 135 dated 30.7.92. U/s 307 IPC, 25 Indian Arms Act, 4/5 Indian Explosives Act and 3/4/5 of Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act, registered at the Police Station Civil Lines, Ludhiana at the instance of Mr Balwant Singh Gill, Superintendent Police (Detective) Ludhiana.

SUKHDEV SINGH 'BABBAR' KILLED IN A FAKE ENCOUNTER

Bhai Sukhdev Singh 'Babbar', the chief of Babbar Khalsa International was announced by the police to have been killed in an encounter with the police on the Sahnewal-Dehlon Road in Ludhiana district at 5 AM on 9.8.92, but contrary to the police claim all other reports indicated that Sukhdev Singh was already in police custody. It was in these circumstances that IHRO appointed a four member team comprising of its General Secretary Mohinder Singh Grewal and Secretaries Gurbhajan Singh Gill, Bhupinder Singh Somal and Harchand Singh Gill to investigate the incident.
